JIM LINO
Jim started his building career in 1973 as a summertime apprentice to his Dad, George. The Lino family had been shipwrights in Sausalito for generations, and George made the transition to building "on the hard" in the late 1950's. Jim, therefore honed his craft with a distinct nautical bent, which is reflected in his attention to detail, precision wood joinery, and ability to build beyond the rectilinear. In 1989 Jim brought his passion for custom home building, woodworking, and wooden boats to Point Reyes Station, where he has become a community fixture. If you have questions about a potential project, want to learn more about our process, or would like to hear a good yarn about old wooden boats please give us a call.
